1954 Canadian Silver Dollar, mintage 246,606. Mintage dropped dramatically for this period, silver still under $1.00 per ounce. Two varieties for this year, 1954 FWL (full water lines) and 1954 SWL (single water line)The one shown here is 1954 FWL, has some wear to it and is just about EF-20 to 40. Trend around $20.00 very easy to find, but in MS-65 this coin jumps up to $5000.00 at trend, not easy to find or is it very affordable. The 1954 SWL however is not easy to find and no coin above MS-63 has been recorded.
